Come “fix” your lunch “break” with us at our favorite Irish pub for “Fix It Fridays!”
It is our absolute pleasure to offer a new venue for medical training, Lochland’s Irish Pub & Beer Garden in Dallas, Texas. Our family has been patrons of this welcoming and traditional pub for several years. The owners and staff have treated us like family from day one, and are most gracious to now offer up their lovely beer garden to support a Veteran-owned small business and advocate for first aid training within the community.
During this 1.5hr “Lunch & Learn” we’ll cover various subjects related to field medicine. While you enjoy great food made from scratch (and a pint if you wish) nestled deep in the relaxing beer garden of Lochland’s; Caleb will guide discussions, coach you through some skills, review your med kit with you, and maybe even share a story or two.
Think of this as less of a formal class and more of a roundtable discussion… at your neighborhood Irish pub!
We’ll meet in the beer garden around back. In the winter there are outdoor heaters to help keep us warm and toasty. In the summer there is plenty of shade and fans to keep us cool and comfy. If the weather is too extreme one way or another, we’ll either postpone class or make other arrangements. Just be sure and dress appropriately as we will remain outdoors in the beer garden for the duration of the class.
Participants are responsible for their own food & beverage costs.
